Del 18 al 21 de setiembre se realizó la EXPO LOGISTI-K Argentina, evento internacional sobre equipamiento, tecnología y soluciones para logística, donde Marco Espejo, autor de Gestión de inventarios. Métodos cuantitativos, libro editado por el Fondo Editorial de la USIL, brindó la conferencia titulada “Consideraciones en los pronósticos de la demanda y en los niveles de inventario”, tema es parte de su publicación.
La exposición de Espejo trató sobre el valor de implementar herramientas y estrategias que permitan reducir las probabilidades de quiebres y excedentes de inventario en una empresa.
El libro está dirigido especialmente a alumnos de postgrado en Logística y Administración que necesiten desarrollar habilidades a través de métodos cuantitativos para la toma de decisiones en que estén involucrados los inventarios.
